Walk In Closet DesignLast winter we renovated our walk-in closet with impressive results. Walk-In Closet Design is fairly easy especially if you use some of the free online design tools. We ended up designing and purchasing our walk-in closet materials from EasyClosets. They have a really great online design tool that makes it really easy to design your closet and look at renderings.

Some of the design considerations for walk-in closets should be:

• Functionality over Visual Appearance
• Use the corners for hanging clothing as we did (see photo)
• Be sure that drawers can easily be opened without hitting other shelving or drawers
• Be sure to leave room for tolerances as walls are never perfectly square and plumb
• Tape out your design on the floor and make sure there is sufficient room to stand in the closet
